In this episode; We discuss the problem with the American Kennel Club's "tactics" as well as why having an ID Registration for Service Dogs is and will cause problems for (not only) the disabled with a Service Dog, but those that do not have a Service Dog and, instead, have some sort of equipment to help them in their every day lives.
Our guests include:
Joaquin Juatai - PTSDog, Author, Disabled Navy Vet
Scav - Scav & Scout Chronicles, Disabled Army Vet
Veronica Morris, PhD - President of Psychiatric Service Dog Partners
Brad Morris - Secretary, Treasurer, & Director of Government Relations of Psychiatric Service Dog Partners
Nia Pinheiro - Landlord & Founder of Psychiatric Service Dog 411
Each one has their own views and opinions as well as experiences on the matters that are brought up and discussed. Not only do each of them go into detail about their personal beliefs and accounts, but we also mention historical laws and events that are (in many ways) what is happening to the disabled today. Not only do we address the stigmas with having a Service Dog but we debunk a few myths along the way pertaining to how the AKC, media, and world views Service Dogs and you can find links down below.
If you have any questions, comments, suggestions for upcoming Round Table Discussions or just want to discuss the topic at-hand, please leave a comment or send us an e-mail.
